This post has been long overdue, it took us sometime to get out of the cricket craziness and write this down. Now that we have successfully completed this year's Hyderabad Twestival we thought it would be a great idea to share the impact which we have created this year.

When we first started off we thought achieving a figure over 50,000 would be a great but to our surprise we raised 90k even before the event started off!! Here are the impact figures :

Total Amount Raised over 2.9 lakhs

Number of kids impacted : 116

We had many sources this year for fundraising and we would like to thank Twestival India for amazing tieups they had with organizations like GiveIndia which really helped us multiply the impact this year. We have also won other grants from the twestival global team for the logo contest. Here is the split up for the funds raised :

We would like to thank team Aashayein for their continuous support and would like to thank all our sponsors/partners Sweet Nirvana, iGenero , Flipkart, InkFruit, Bombay Store etc and especially our title sponsor MedPlus India.

Last but not the least we would like to thank all Hyderbadi's and the Hyderabad twestival organising team without whom the event wouldn't have been possible. This years twestival will be remembered for a long time, at least we would remember it as we witnessed India knocking out three time world champions Australia from the Tournament. All of you who have been a part of it (online/offline) you have played your part in helping us making a small change.

In the last post that we have written, we have given you 4 reasons to attend this year's Hyderabad Twestival. Out of which one was a sumptuous dinner buffet, we thought it would be a great idea to let you guys know what's on the menu of the 5 course dinner buffet tomorrow:

Reasons to Attend Hyderabad Twestival

This year's Hyderabad Twestival in association with MedPlus India is now just 3 days away and we thought it would be great to let you know the progress so far and give you more than one reason to attend the event:

The Progress:

So far the event has got great visibility much more than we initially anticipated and we were also successful in gathering a lot of funds much before the event. Here is a quick update on the funds we raised on the impact we created till date:

Total Funds Raised: Rs 68,149 (Through online fundraising and contests)

The impact so far: 27 Kids education sponsored for an year

The funds raised so far will help sponsor education for 27 kids through Aashayein Foundations Bache Mann Ke Sache program and we want to take this number close to 100 kids with the event. So here are a few reasons why we think you should attend the event:

1. Help us impact 100 lives through the funds we raise in the event. The entire amount (100%) you spend on the ticket will be donated to Aasheyein Foundation

2. The ticket also includes a buffet and complementary drink (Thanks to our sponsors, MedPlus India)

3. You will get a chance to interact with Aashayein Foundation volunteers and get to know more about Aasheyein and also pursue full time volunteering options (Aasheyein is looking for over 20 volunteers to join their enthusiastic team)
